ISLAMABAD: Banned outfit, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) President Aurangzeb Farooqui had small financial assets according to his documents uploaded on the Election Commission of Pakistan’s website, reported by a local media outlet.
Farooqui is due to contest the upcoming polls as a candidate of the Rahe Haq Party (RHP) from Karachi for both provincial and national assemblies’ seats.
The documents showed that Farooqui owned a house and had a total worth of Rs7 million.
Moreover, he had a monthly salary of Rs30,000 and no police case against his was listed in the documents.
