Rescue workers still unable to recover bodies of three minors

RAWALPINDI: Rescue workers were unable to locate the bodies of three minors who had swept away in a local canal while families of the children continued to protest.

Protestors marched towards the press club via Murree Road and blocked traffic at several points.

In addition to this, they also shouted slogans and demanded that divers from the Pakistan Navy be called in to recover bodies of the children.

The minors, seven-year-old Shah Hussain, four-year-old Nawab Zahra and seven-year-old Farhan Malik, were all cousins.

The protest ended after senior police officials met with the families.
