SARGODHA: The in-laws of a 30-year-old woman on Monday burnt her alive after brutal torture.
According to the police, the incident took place in the suburban Chak 39-Southern village of Sargodha, where pitiless in-laws brutally tortured a woman and set her on fire by dousing her with petrol.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to the burns.
The deceased, a mother of three children had been married to for the past eight years.
The police have registered a case against five accused including the husband and raids are being carried out for their arrest.
