ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal, while chairing a meeting at NAB headquarters on Wednesday, authorised complaint verification against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) central leader Amir Muqam, member of the National Assembly (MNA) Ameer Zaman, member of the provincial assembly (MPA) Abdul Malik Kakar and Peshawar Nazim Asim Khan for alleged corruption and having assets beyond known sources of income.
The NAB chairman directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) NAB director general to initiate the process of verifying complaint against Muqam for having assets beyond known sources of income.
The meeting also authorised the KP NAB director general to conduct complaint verification against Peshawar Nazim Asim Khan for alleged misappropriation of government funds and distributing honorarium among employees without completing the legal requirements.
Moreover, the meeting also authorised Balochistan NAB director general to verify complaint against MNA Ameer Zaman for alleged misappropriation of development funds and having assets beyond known sources of income.
In addition, the meeting authorised Balochistan NAB director general to verify a complaint against Balochistan member of the provincial assembly (MPA) Abdul Malik Kakar for allegedly misappropriating development funds.
