ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain gave the status of a state minister to Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz.
On the advice of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the president approved the summary of elevating the status of CII chairman. Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification to this effect after which the CII chairman would get all the perks, facilities, salary and allowances equal to a state minister.
