MULTAN: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid, arrested a terrorist and seized a cache of arms in Multan.
The CTD sources said that on an intelligence tip-off, a team raided a house in Pir Colony near Central Jail in Multan.
A large cache of arms was recovered from the house and a terrorist was also arrested.
The CTD seized the weapons recovered and the detainee was shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
The terrorists were planning from a major terror attack in the city but timely action foiled the bid, the CTD sources said
