ISLAMABAD: The fate of development fund of Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) hangs in the balance as political parties and authorities are mainly focusing on upcoming general elections, reported a local English newspaper.
The FATA reforms are on backfoot as out of Rs 24.5 billion Annual Development Program (ADP) for 2017-18, only Rs 5.8 billion is being utilised by the FATA secretariat’s finance department.
The Secretariat has now only four months to use remaining Rs 18.7 billion.
