The judicial remand of Tereza Hluskova, a Czech model detained for trying to smuggle heroin from the Allama Iqbal International Airport, was extended for another seven days by a magistrate on Tuesday.
The orders of the extension were passed by Judicial Magistrate Zafar Fareed after the customs officials presented her before the judge and submitted the investigation’s progress report.
According to the officials, Tariq, the facilitator of the detained woman told that the woman visited Pakistan on the invitation of his brother. While Tariq too is in custody, the investigation is still underway, he added.
Customs officials had caught the 21-year-old after she successfully passed through two Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) checking counters at the Lahore airport.
