ISLAMABAD: Transfers and appointments in the Islamabad police have been made and the notification to this effect has been issued.
Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Sajid Kiani on Thursday was removed from his seat, and now he will serve for the Intelligence Bureau (IB), in line with the notification.
While a grade-19 officer Najeeb ur Rehman has been appointed as the SSP operations, IG special branch Captain Ilyas has been removed from his seat and will now serve for Punjab, the notification read.
