Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Javed Abbassi has said that Pakistan People’s Party was hiding behind Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) and supporting its plan of sit-in to delay elections.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had used the tactics during the process of delimitation in the Senate, he said while talking to a news channel. Supporting sit-in and protest demonstration had hit the economy and halted the investment coming to this country, he said.
The PPP wanted to disturb the present government so that the PML-N could not complete its constitutional tenure, he said. Such tactics would have negative impact on democratic system, he said. He urged the political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and PPP to use the proper forum of the Parliament to discuss any issue.
