Educational institutions across Punjab and Sindh are reopened on the first day of 2018 (Monday) after winter vacations, but the attendance of students remained low.
Government schools in Karachi have commenced their classes today but many private institutions are still closed. The students have expressed their wish to get more holidays, reported private news channel.
Let it be known that the Sindh government had announced 10-day winter vacations from December 22 to 31. Punjab government had also directed to keep the institutions closed till the last day of 2017.
