KARACHI: The Sindh Police Welfare Department has issued compensation cheques of Rs 10.17 million to the widows of the martyred police officers.
A police statement said here that the amount was disbursed on the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) A.D.Khawaja. It is said that the cheques were given to widows of 38 police personnel.
