HYDERABAD: A minor girl was killed when a house collapsed due to blast at a firecracker factory in the Kumhar Paray area in Old Power House, Hyderabad burying the inmates under the debris.
Rescue teams along with the residents of the area retrieved 10 persons, including four children and two women, from the rubble while the search for others is ongoing. Two of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad.
A fire also erupted after the blast. Fire brigade reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.
