KHAIRPUR: One person was electrocuted to death, while three others were scorched when a high-tension power line fell on a house here on Sunday.
According to details, a high-tension power line of Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) fell over a house located in a village in Khairpur.
One person identified as Ali Sher Panhyar was electrocuted to death on the spot while three others including Sapna Panhyar, Altaf Panhyar and another were scorched.
The body and scorched people were shifted to Gambat Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Following the incident, villagers held a protest demonstration at Bozdar link road and demanded the registration of an FIR against SEPCO officials.
