ISLAMABAD: Security forces conducted a joint search operation on Thursday, during which they searched 60 houses and investigated 100 suspected persons within the limits of Kohsar Police Station.
According to police sources, a team comprising of police, Rangers and intelligence agencies personnel conducted a search operation in the jurisdiction of Kohsar market, and interrogated a large number of suspected persons in the process.
Islamabad Police Operations Senior Superintendent of Police Sajid Kiyani said that the purpose of this operation was to protect the lives, and properties of citizens and to make security arrangements of the federal capital more effective than before. He said the main priority of the operation was to provide protection to citizens from criminal elements in the federal capital.
