Expatriate’s house vacated from illegal occupant

LAHORE: Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has vacated a house owned by an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs 10 million from an illegal occupant.

Commissioner Punjab OPC Afzaal Bhatti said that Malik Zafar Iqbal of Berkshire (UK) had filed a complaint that his tenant had refused to vacate his house in Mohalla Faizabad, Gujrat, and also refused to pay rent of several months.

Afzaal Bhatti said that the complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC), Gujrat for action, which got the house vacated and handed it over to its owner.
