GILGIT: Gilgit Baltistan Local government and Rural Development Minister Farman Ali on Thursday said that everyone, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is bound to respect the rule of law as no one is an exception.
Talking to reporters, he said the PML-N has always shown respect for the constitution and played a due role in its strengthening.
He reiterated that all the state institutions should work in their constitutional parameters.The independent judiciary was dreamt by the PML-N leadership and the party implemented it in letter and spirit, he said, adding that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif despite reservations accepted his disqualification by a Supreme Court judgment, he explained.
