A man, Zulqurnain, killed his sister, Kalsoom, in the Multan High Court premises on Tuesday because she married a man of her choice.
Kalsoom was at the court for a hearing with her husband when her brother opened fire on her that resulted in her death and injuries to three others, including her lawyer and husband.
They were immediately shifted to the Nishtar Hospital where doctors said her husband’s condition was serious.
Police arrested the killer and registered a case against him under sections for murder and attempt to murder.
