KARACHI: A fire that erupted in a cylinder shop near Fisheries Gate 4 today intensified mid afternoon. The fire had broken out after the gas cylinders placed in the shop exploded causing a nearby docked boat to catch fire. Thereafter, the fire spread to surrounding areas.
Five of Karachi Port Trust’s fire tenders were used in extinguishing the blaze at the time while more have been summoned to the site of the incident.
