The staggeringly high Haq Mehr of one billion rupees (demanded in advance, at that) in the clandestine marriage of a key cabinet member with a high-profile female member of parliament almost became the cause of the whole thing being called off in the first place.
In any case, things still stayed their course and the wedding took place. I guess nothing can beat the power of young love. (Lols.)

The last time when the bench gave its verdict (to set up a JIT) both sides celebrated. This time, contrary to what has been playing out till now, it is the PML-N camp that is a bit relieved and the PTI camp that is down in the doldrums.
Apparently, it is a foregone conclusion amongst many that we are looking at a referral to the trial court of NAB. Still, it ain’t over till it’s over.
