Panama Case: PTI legal counsel urges SC to disqualify PM

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudry, while addressing the media on Monday (today) said that the party’s legal counsel  Naeem Bukhari, has pleaded the Supreme Court to summon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for cross-examination if required, disqualify him from Parliament and send cases against the Sharif family to an accountability court.

Earlier, Bukhari presented his arguments before the three-member Panama case implementation bench.

Chaudhry further informed that the respondents will be presenting their arguments in the apex court tomorrow. He said that that PM’s daughter Maryam Nawaz should face criminal proceedings for lying before the JIT.
