State Minister for National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, Saira Afzal Tarar has said the present government is taking several steps for empowerment of women.
She said that government is providing soft loans, free of cost cattle and imparting vocational training to enable them to earn their own livelihood in respectable manners as well as to play their vital role in national development.
Saira Afzal Tarar said the PML-N government is committed to curb diseases including polio from the country.
She said women could play a proactive role in making the country polio-free.
