A man with a knife has been arrested outside the British parliament on Friday, police said, adding that there were no reports of any casualties.
“The man ─ aged in his 30s ─ was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife,” London’s Scotland Yard police headquarters said in a statement.
A Reuters reporter at the scene saw several police vehicles near one of the Westminster parliament’s gates which were closed. The reporter said traffic was flowing normally near parliament.
