KARACHI: A fire erupted on the fourth floor of a building on Karachi’s II Chundrigar Road Saturday morning.
The fire, which had erupted in an office situated inside the building, was doused after two hours.
At the time this report was filed, fire department officials were busy in the cooling process of the building.
Initially, two fire tenders were being used to control the blaze and additional two were used to successfully douse the fire.
The firefighters faced difficulty in taking the water pipe to the area of the fire.
Fortunately, all the people present inside the building were safely evacuated, said rescue sources.
The reason for the fire has yet to be ascertained.
