Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari will be meeting senior party leadership in Lahore at 7 pm today (Friday).
Following the first phase of protests against prolonged power outages in Lahore, Zardari has called upon the party members to prepare further strategies.
Sources are reported to have said Panama papers scandal and Dawn Leaks are expected to be the highlights of the meeting in addition to speeding up protests against the government.
Earlier the other day, PPP protested against load shedding with handheld fans in Lahore’s Nasir Bagh during which, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Khurshid Shah said that Prime Minister could survive Dawn Leaks and Panama Leaks but would not be able to shake off the flak over power outages.
The rally was addressed by several PPP leaders.
