RAWALPINDI: A paternal uncle on Friday has shot down a niece for refusing marriage proposal of his son in Rawalpindi. The incident took place in Fogi colony when suspect Niaz killed his niece Mahrukh and fled the scene.
Police officers arrived at the crime scene for detailed investigation and shifted the body to the hospital from where it was handed over to the victim’s family after postmortem. The police authorities have stated that a case has been registered against the accused and search for Niaz is underway.
