The five member bench led by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has directed for the constitution of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in the Panama Case verdict for further investigation of the Prime Minister and his family’s assets. This was the absolute correct decision taken by the honourable court and all political parties should now respect this decision. Protests or sit-ins by any political party will be disrespecting to the court. The JIT should be allowed to do its job, as has been accepted by the PML-N led government.

The verdict in this case should be acknowledged with good grace and dignity and now matter rests with the JIT. We should all let the JIT work with due diligence and wait for an outcome that will be favorable for the country.
