PESHAWAR: An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale jolted Malakand, Swat, Upper Dir, Lower Dir and adjoining areas on early Wednesday morning.
No loss of life was reported due to the earthquake.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicentre of the quake was located 49 km north-west of Chitral at the depth of 100 kilometres.
