According to reports, the Islamabad High Court has reached a decision regarding the social media blasphemy case.
A short decision will be announced soon. Whereas a detailed version will be released later today.
The case has generated a lot of attention at the government level. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif earlier this month gave orders that those responsible for putting blasphemous content on social media should be arrested and brought to justice without any delay.
On March 16, the National Assembly also passed a resolution condemning blasphemous content posted on social media and agreed upon the formation of a committee to monitor social media activity.
