India to hold joint military exercises with US, China and 14 other countries

NEW DELHI: India will hold joint military drills with US, China and 14 other countries.

According to an Indian news agency, Defence Minister Subhash Bhamre told parliament that India will be conducted joint military drills with Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UAE and US in the ongoing year.

He said that through the drills exchange of military experiences, training, seminars, workshops and other activities will be organised.

He asserted that the drills aim to promote bilateral defence cooperation among the countries.
