Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that the CPEC is the progressive venture and that other countries in the region will also benefit from the project as it will generate economic activity which will create numerous employment opportunities here.
The investment of 54 billion dollars through the CEPC has opened up the way for more foreign investment, he said, adding that it is a game changer and a guarantor of progress.
The chief minister said that the responsibility to execute this national interest project successfully lay on the whole country as it will benefit everyone.
He claimed that the Pakistani economy was bankrupt when the current federal government came into power as nepotism, defilement, and loot had left the nation in darkness. He shared gladly that today’s Pakistan was on the way to improvement and a great deal more steady when contrasted with 2013.
