Public Health Fair held at JPMC

 

 

A Public Health Fair (Health Mela) was held at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) on Saturday in which scores of patients were provided consultation and diagnostics facilities free of cost.

The fair was organised with the connection to three-day 52nd annual Symposium Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) which will begin from January 16 and continue till January 19, 2017.

A large of number doctors, nurses and paramedical staff attended the event.

Physiotherapy, Eye Testing, Blood Sugar and Cholesterol Testing, Nutrition Assessment, Uric Acid Testing, Blood Group Testing, Prevention of Obesity and Dental Checkup facilities were provided to dozens of people.

Organisers of Health Fair said they provided free consultation and counselling to the citizens at various stalls. The basic aim of organising health fair in one of the major hospitals of Karachi was to raise awareness in general public about diseases.
