Two sewer-men on Thursday died of suffocation while working near Khanpur in Basti Jatki.
A spokesman of Rescue-1122 said that three sewer-men Khaleel Ahmad, Kareem Baksh and Abdul Khaliq inhaled a toxic gas during the cleaning procedure.
According to the rescue officials, three men were shifted to DHQ Hospital in a critical condition, where two died and one survived.
