A man gunned down his brother-in-law (husband of sister) over love marriage feud here on Thursday and escaped from the scene.
The police said that deceased Irshad did love marriage with sister of accused Riaz some six months ago without the consent of her family in Tehsil Shujjabad of Multan district.
Accused Riaz deeply distressed over step taken by his sister, shot dead her husband Irshad and fled away.
The body was shifted to hospital for post-mortem and the police after registering a case against the murderer at large started raids for his arrest.
