The members of KP Assembly have been directed by Imran Khan to tender their resignations to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, sources confirmed.
It has also been reported that the PTI Chairman is most likely to announce resignations from KP Assembly during the sit-in.
Meanwhile, member of the provincial assembly KPK, Zareen Zia said “We will immediately tender our resignations upon Chief Minister’s demand.”
Pervaiz Khattak has been directed to accept resignations from KP Assembly members as they can be tendered any time during the sit-in. Sources also confirmed that Pervaiz Khattak would accept resignations from all his party members as the official announcement to resign from the assembly could be made by Imran Khan. Opposition parties have started counselling over the matter as news of resignations surfaced in.
