The funeral prayer of those martyred in the attack on police training centre was offered in Quetta on Tuesday.
The funeral prayer was attended among others by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Commander Southern Command, IG FC Major General Sher Afghan, and other top civilian and military officials.
A prayer for eternal peace of the departed soul was offered after the funeral. The bodies of the martyred were later sent to their ancestral areas for burial. As many as 61 police cadets and an army Captain were martyred and 124 injured in the attack.
