Tahir ul Qadri to contact opposition leaders for joint front against PM Nawaz

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri decided to contact the leaderships of all opposition parties in the country to mobilise the joint front against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government.

Dr Qadri will contact Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for a dynamic campaign against the government.

The anti-government grand alliance could not get off the ground as these political leaders lack direct interaction with each other. The PAT chief’s recent decision is aimed at bridging the gap between the leaders and bringing them closer.

Qadri will call up leaders of the other political parties also.

It should be mentioned here that Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid had already held communications with all the opposition parties.

He has apprised Dr Qadri about his efforts in this regard.
