A woman and her two daughters were allegedly axed to death by the girls’ uncle over a marriage feud on the outskirts of Lilyani Town of Sargodha on Friday.
Police officials said Zaiba, 45, and her daughters, 23-year-old Ishrat and Misbah, 22, were killed at their residence.
Ishrat’s nikkah ceremony was reportedly scheduled for Saturday (tomorrow) but her uncle was not pleased with the marriage proposal.
The bodies were ferried to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered against the killer.
