Pakistan’s first current affairs channel, Channel 24 launched

 

LAHORE-

Channel 24, the country’s first current affairs based channel, has been launched with the goal to provide quality content to its viewers through famous journalists and anchors. The channel is owned by Mohsin Naqvi, whose City 42 news channel is Lahore’s premier electronic media outfit.

The channel will air several political talk shows such as DNA with Arif Nizami, Ali on Air, Breakfast with Sajjad Mir, Mujahid Live and Tajzia with Sami Ibrahim. Other prominent anchors like Asma Chaudhry, Naseem Zehra, Zahid Hussain, Mahmood Shaam, Zafar Hilaly, Huma Baqai, Ayaz Amir, Dr Shahid Masood and Orya Maqbool Jan will also feature on the channel.
