21 killed in NWA, Khyber Agency airstrikes

At least 21 suspected militants were killed in military airstrikes in the restive North Waziristan and Khyber tribal regions on Sunday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two militant hideouts were destroyed in North Waziristan Agency besides elimination of 11 suspected terrorists.

Earlier on August 30, at least 32 suspected militants had been killed and three militant hideouts were destroyed by army gunship helicopters in a remote area of Bangidar in North Waziristan.

In separate airstrikes in the Khyber Agency’s Kuki Khel area, at least 10 suspected militants were killed.

Three militant hideouts were also destroyed, said an ISPR statement.
