LHC forms larger bench to hear petitions against Azadi March

LAHORE-

Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmad on Friday constituted a three-member full bench for hearing the petitions filed for restraining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from August 14 Azadi March, a private news channel reported.

According to the report, Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan had requested LHC CJ to form a larger bench for the petitions against PTI’s August 14 Azadi March as the petitioners had raised some fundamental legal and constitutional points that needed greater interpretation.

The three-member bench, headed by Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan consists of Justice Shahid Hameed Dar and Justice Anwarul Haque.
