Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali said on Sunday that people like Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rashid Ahmed should be in the jail.
Talking to reporters, Ali said that if Rashid was fed up with democracy then he should leave the masses alone and tender his resignation.
He said that the government is more concerned about the Lahore incident than those how are “shedding false tears and doing politics over bodies”.
To a question, he said loadshedding during Sehr and Iftar is because of a fault in transmission lines and will be overcome very soon.
