A lawyer was killed in a drive-by shooting incident on Jahangir Road on Friday in what appears to be a sectarian attack.
According to police, three gunmen riding a motorcycle targeted Ghulam Haider as he was heading back to his home after work. Haider, 45, was shot thrice in his head, causing his instant death. The dead body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Two doctors and one lawyer have been gunned down in Karachi this week in sectarian attacks.
