Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and four others were injured when their convoy was hit by an explosion at Sadokhail area of Landi Kotal in Khyber Agency on Monday.
According to source, a convoy of FC was on a regular patrol duty when the explosives, planted in the corner of the road, went off which resulted in the death of two FC personnel and injuring four others.
Security forces surrounded the area and lodged a search operation after the incident. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded officers to a hospital for medical treatment.
