No pressure from abroad regarding Musharraf: Rashid

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Thursday said that there was neither any pressure in the past nor it is now as far as the issue of Pervez Musharraf was concerned.

Talking to reporters, the minister said all decisions, including Musharraf’s treatment abroad, would be made by the court during hearing of the treason case against the former president.

He said none of the foreign governments have contacted Pakistan about Pervez Musharraf. He said they could pray for early recovery for any sick person and as far as Nawaz Sharif was concerned, he had forgiven Musharraf.
