A multi storey commercial plaza was engulfed in flames on Sunday morning.
The fire erupted in a quilt factory situated inside the premises.The Fire Brigade managed to put out the fire after a couple of hours and Rescue teams evacuated everybody trapped inside the building.
According to a spokesman of Rescue 1122, the fire erupted in the basement of the multi storey building due to short circuit. However, no loss of life was reported.
