Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has completed consultations on the new interim prime minister and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is expected to discuss the names with Prime Minster Raja Pervez Ashraf soon.
According to sources, there was complete consensus on the name of Justice (r) Nasir Aslam Zahid within the party and among other opposition parties for the next interim prime minister.
The party also considered names of Justice (r) Ajmal Mian and Justice (r) Shakirullah Jan but failed to reach a consensus on their names.
