Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira says the Government has taken solid steps for the development of media industry.
Talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Newspapers Society in Islamabad on Tuesday‚ he said the Government believes in freedom of Press and the freedom of media is vital for the strengthening of democracy.
The delegation apprised the information minister about their problems and concerns. The Minister proposed that a committee be set up to review advertisement policy.
