The Meteorological Department on Thursday forecasted mainly dry weather with mist in the morning in the provincial capital during the next 24 hours.

The Met office said that the synoptic situation yesterday’s trough of westerly wave still lies over Afghanistan but expected to move north-eastwards.

The weather pundit said that mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country, however, isolated thunderstorm/rain is likely to occur over Quetta, Zhob, south Wazirastan and southeast Sindh. The maximum and minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 31 and 14.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
