Working, middle classes appreciate federal budget

The salaried and middle class appreciated the lowering of tax, raising tax ceiling and reduction in the prices of items of common use. Majority of women expressed pleasure over the reduction in prices announced in budget. In view of high sales of generators and UPS, the shopkeepers and traders also expressed positive remarks on reduction of taxes on these items. Parents of school going children said that government took a positive step towards reducing the prices of books and stationery and added that it would reduce the burden of expenses on these items. They said that “more than four students from a single family have taken sigh of relief and they feel comfortable in making the house budget.” They said that the budget has made the books and stationery items affordable for middle class families. The low income traders and small business owners said that raise in tax free ceiling would relieve them from tension.
